Never in our lifetime have we encountered a more controversial subject than the daily buzz we hear from co-workers, news networks, social media, and the like related to COVID-19.
While most of us are not sitting in a front-line environment (anymore), we are in the healthcare industry and our work lives, as well as our personal lives, remain impacted daily. We haven’t failed to think about that in our planning for this year’s NAMAS conference. What we have heard from our members and attendees is that some employers are not paying for staff travel in 2021, while we have others who are willing to pay the travel expenses themselves because they are ready to attend a live conference for networking and a more conducive learning experience. Our goal is to provide a conference that meets both the needs and health and safety requirements of our attendees.
This year’s NAMAS conference will be live onsite in Clearwater Beach, FL, and will also be live-streamed in an effort to meet each attendee’s preference. Onsite, we will adhere to CDC and venue recommendations with ample sanitization stations, and social distancing all while also giving you the opportunity to network and meet with vendors (responsibly). Live stream attendees, we didn’t forget you- we will work hard to create an interactive and accommodating learning environment. Questions or concerns? Your thoughts or comments? We are open to hearing from you!
