The Credential Criteria.

The E/M Auditor credential is acquired by successfully completing proficiency testing administered by NAMAS. Testing includes the evaluation of up to 10 redacted patient encounters to assess the individual’s audit proficiency.

Certified individuals must maintain their credential by earning 12 continuing education credit hours annually. CEUs are designed to uphold the individual’s level of E/M education & expertise.

Verifying Made Easy!

Whether you are a NAMAS member requesting credential verification for personal use, or your employer is requesting verification; we have made this process very simple for you. 

The NAMAS member will fill out a consent form providing information of the receiver & once obtained, we will send the member or the employer the Credential Verification form directly.
