With the 2021 AMA E&M changes, NAMAS will require that all those who hold the CEMA or CEMA-O credential to re-certify. Additional information regarding this update can be found within this webpage.
Why is NAMAS making all credentialed CEMA’s recertify?
In order to maintain the CEMA and CEMA-O certification, those certified will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the AMA 2021 E&M Guidelines. These NAMAS credentials are based on Evaluation & Management services, and due to the extensive updates to the guidelines, proficiency in this new way of auditing is necessary.
Recertifying provides useful validation of your proficiency in the new guidelines which is useful to substantiate your knowledge base through precision scoring and the act of recertifying a useful employer notification.
