Our Evaluation and Management Auditing BootCamp is an advanced, E&M focused training bootcamp conducted online. Attendees learn the components of E&M auditing focused on 2021 Documentation Guidelines for 99202-99215 based services. During this training, we focus not only on the guidelines, but also on including the grey areas of auditing and how to address these with a policy for your organization.
Each area of learning and review is address with hands-on auditing exercises to deepen understanding and build confidence in E&M auditing abilities.

Proficiency Testing through Certification
Obtain your CEMA to identify your expertise as an Evaluation & Management Auditor.
This is a certification exam is testing your audit proficiency as opposed to your testing ability. This exam includes 10 encounters to be audited, and the pass rating is based on the proficiency of the auditors precision rating.
Each section of MDM and Time are broken down into multiple choice questions (8 questions) and repeated for each of the 10 encounters. These questions are utilized during the bootcamp training while through hands-on encounter examples.
A 70% is required to pass the exam and obtain a CEMA, and one complimentary retest is provided. The exam is an online proctored exam (webcam required).
To maintain the CEMA certification, 12 CEUs is required annually, primarily in E&M, but NAMAS will accept CEUs used for other certification. NAMAS membership is also required, however the membership is provided (for those who are not already members) with the bootcamp, and our membership provides 12 annual CEUs as a benefit.
